چکیده
The objective was to evaluate the productivity, microbiology and histopathology of jejunum, ceca liver in broilers fed a control or high non-starch polysaccharide (HNSPs) diet added with an extract humic substances (EHS). 240 individually allocated, from 21-42 d age were assigned factorial arrangement 2 types diets: 1) A corn/soybean meal (Control) 2) As Control plus 7% distillers dried grain solubles 12% wheat bran (HNSPs), 3 growth promoters: Antibiotic promoters (AGP); without AGP (NAGP) C) 0.5% EHS. At end trial, breast carcass weighed samples intestine, taken for microbial analysis. Results subjected ANOVA. EHS-fed had lower feed conversion ratio (FCR) total aerobic bacterial (TAB) counts higher ashes digestibility diet, but negative responses seen HNSPs (Type promoter interaction, p≤0.05). lesion scores jejunum (p≤0.05). TAB E. coli AGP-fed (p<0.01) compared NAGP EHS groups. showed improved FCR ileal score similar weight gain broilers.

Addition of a Worm Leachate as Source of Humic Substances in the Drinking Water of Broiler Chickens
The objective of this research was to evaluate the growth performance, the apparent ileal digestibility of nitrogen and energy, the retention of nutrients and the apparent metabolizable energy corrected to zero nitrogen retention (AMEn) in broiler chickens supplemented with increasing doses of a worm leachate (WL) as a source of humic substances (HS) in the drinking water. In Exp. 1, 140 male b...
متن کاملAmylase addition increases starch ruminal digestion in first-lactation cows fed high and low starch diets.
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of an exogenous amylase preparation on digestion of low- and high-starch diets in dairy cattle. Rumen and total-tract nutrient digestibility were measured in a 4×4 Latin square design with 28-d periods using 4 first-lactation cows cannulated at the rumen and duodenum. Corn silage-based diets had 20 or 30% starch, attained by changing the co...
متن کاملEffect of thymol and carvacrol on nutrient digestibility in rams fed high or low concentrate diets
Published data on the effects of essential oils (EO) on in vivo nutrient digestibility in sheep are contradictory. In 2 experiments, the effect of thymol and carvacrol on nutrient digestibility was studied in sheep fed with high (70%) or low (52%) concentrate diets, using incomplete Latin Square designs. The essential oils were mixed with the concentrate portion of the diet at the rate of 0.0, ...

The objective of this research was to investigate the efficacy of dietary inclusion of probiotics Primalac® and Bactocell® and prebiotic Fermacto® on broiler’s performance and immune response, individually or in combination. A total of 540 one-d-old male Ross 308 broiler chicks were allocated into 6 experimental treatments with 6 replicates of 15 birds per replicate from 1 to 42 d of age. The b...

This study was performed with growing chicken (14 to 56 d of age) to evaluate the effects of feeding them a barley or triticale-based diet. The treatments were corn diet (1) as a control, hulless barley diet with (5) or without (2) enzyme, triticale diet with (6) or without (3) enzyme and hulled barley diet with (7) or without (4) a commercial β-glucanase enzyme. In a digestibility trial, 21 ma...
